College Students

4- and 3-year campus-based scholarships

IU Indianapolis Army ROTC has a limited number of scholarships available for current college students. Interested students must meet very strict qualification standards and compete against many other qualified applicants. These scholarships are essentially identical to the national scholarships.

2-year campus-based Basic Camp scholarships

If you missed the first two years of Army ROTC, the 2-year program offers you the chance to achieve the same goals and benefits of the 4-year program. If you receive the 2-year scholarship, it covers your tuition and provides you with an annual book allowance and monthly stipend.

Your first step into the 2-year program is Basic Camp at Fort Knox, a fully paid, four-week training camp taken between your third and fourth years. After graduating from this camp, you will compete for these scholarships against all other graduates.

This is also how graduate students enter ROTC while working toward advanced degrees.
