Biography

Matthew Schneider, Sergeant First Class (SFC), enlisted in the United States Army National Guard in 2009 and completed training at Fort Sill, OK. Schneider has served as a human resources specialist, senior human resources non-commissioned officer, systems program manager, career counselor, military entrance processing station guidance counselor, reserve officer training corps instructor/officer recruiter, and recruiting and retention non-commissioned officer. He has completed two tours in Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, and Operation Spartan Shield.

Schneider currently serves as the Indiana Army National Guard liaison for the Army ROTC cadets at Indiana University Indianapolis.

Schneider’s military education includes Basic Leader’s Course, Advanced Leader’s Course, Senior Leader’s Course, Army National Guard Recruiter Course, MEPS Guidance Counselor Course, the Army Basic Instructor’s Course, and Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC).
